Vino & Van Gogh Presented by Zuriel Technology Group

On August 24th, the Junior Board of United Ability hosted its annual Vino & Van Gogh event at the beautiful BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft. This year’s event was presented by Zuriel Technology Group and was a lively evening filled with great wine, tasty food, one-of-a-kind art, a caricature artist, and live music by the Michael Battito Band.

Over 325 people attended, including special guest, Fitzgerald Washington, the Secretary of Labor for Alabama, who was in town making preparations for the recently announced Governor’s Disability Job Fair. The guests enjoyed a variety of food by Happy Catering, a wine tasting hosted by Cat N Bird Winery, a unique wine pull where guests paid $20 and had a chance to land a fabulous bottle of wine. In addition, local artist Sarah Soule Webb created an amazing painting live at the event that was sold during the auction. In addition to the painting, trips to the SEC Championship Game, and Orange Beach Escape, exclusive wine collection, and a VIP experience to the Regions Tradition.

Vino & Van Gogh co-chair Rebecca Hargraves stated that “Junior Board members want to work with a community organization that helps individuals and their families, and of course, that’s what United Ability does.” Fellow co-chair, Sara Beth Wilcox added “this is a great event, it’s such a lively, fun time!”

Through the generous donations and participation by our friends and sponsors, the annual Vino & Van Gogh event was a huge success and will go a long way in helping United Ability continue to support the advancement of medicine, technology, and therapies for people living with disabilities.
